We planned today to go to an art museum with the kids. As usual we started in the morning with our daily dance. After that we learned the children some typical dances like the roman menaito and other famous dances like the macarena, the ketchup song and some belgian typical kidsdances. We had a lot of fun and were delighted by the excitement of all children.
At eleven we took a walk to visit the art museum in the centre of Timisoara. There were different artist like the famous Corneliu Baba. There was also more abstract and modern art which was interesting. It was the first time for the kids and although they didn’t understand well the meaning of it was a great experience for them.
We had our lunch at the centre of Timisoara in the grass and played a little frisbee game. After it we visited another museum with awsome art. Then it became late so we took the tram back to the school. So we finished the day again with our dance.
In the evening we visited a rented house which is used as a pub and was decorated with a lot of antique art pieces. Some of us were surprised by the bathroom which was actually the toilet with a gigantic toy made of sponge. The romanian students brought a traditional drink named palinca… what an experience!
